Star/moonlike shield - asking for criticism and feedback

Hey! This is one of my very first models i'm working on for the DOTA 2 workshop (I'm fully aware there's a subforum for that, however i'm asking for feedback on design and technical part of my model :) So here we go! It's supposed to be back on the back on shield, with the top partially visible (i plan on putting on moonlike symbols on it) Any feedback or criticism much appreciated!     I don't play DOTA so I'm not too familiar with the art-style, but to me this feels way too simple. For starters it's too flat IMO, give it a bit more depth (like this (make it half-spherical depthwise)), doing this would make the shield more practical as it'd (presumably) be easier to deflect incoming attacks. I'd also add some kind of rim around the edges of the shield as that'll make it look more interesting (as well as reinforce it making it stronger).
