Need help with UV Unwrapping problem

So I am following Millenia's amazing shotgun tutorial and attempted to unwrap the pump on the shotgun. Here is the image of it unwrapped after I did it.

Here is an image of what mine looks like, compared to Millenias. See the difference? I can not figure out what is causing this... Please help! Thanks

Did you relax the UVs yet? I'm at work so I don't have the time currently to fast forward through his tutorial (which looks great, BTW - good find! ) to reach the step you're on, but it looks like your UVs need to be relaxed. Give it a shot and see if that helps.

Hey Synaesthesia, thanks a ton for the reply. Unfortunately, this is after being relaxed. I relaxed multiple times in fact. I then tried re-booting my computer and everything.

I think, you should reset transform and scale, maybe even go so far as to run the "Reset Xform" utility. It looks like you scaled the object (instead of the subobjects like element) and that object scale is messing how the Relax tool works on your UVs.

That's just a wild stab in the dark tho...
