Hey there,

i have this problem recently. Sometimes, when i try to group a couple of meshes together, it just wont let me do it. Could it be, that groups within a group is the problem .. but i'm not sure, because it has worked before.

Has anyone out there a clue?

There is the possibility that objects within your selection are linked too each other or too objects outside your selection. Simply press "Unlink Selection" and group afterwards.

Grouping just links your selection too a dummy so to say, doing this would override your links thus they prevent you from doing it.
