You can never be so bad that you shouldn't actively look for job opportunities, and you can never be so good that you shouldn't continue to improve your portfolio
of course it is!
but please remove the wooden planks on your background.
also might want to fix the sub page titles to something other than "Untitled Document".
For your portfolio, I'd recommend ditching the wood background in favor of a solid color. It'll appear more professional that way.
Looking at your work, I would say that the one thing you need to really work on is material definition. It seems as if most of your objects are lacking specular and gloss maps and they appear almost as if they are diffuse only.
Most of your normal maps don't seem to pop the details either; they seem far too subtle.
This for some reason stood out to me since it's so frayed at the point of attachment that I don't think this should be comfortably attached to the pole as it is right now.
Lots of environments, which I think is a good thing?

Good quote mate!
Thanx for the advices guys, I'll work on it!
MM thanx mate!
RexM yes! I need to work more on material definition.
Resume URL is broken, "Gallery" is misspelled. Glad you removed the background.
There's a lot of wasted space between content. Giant header, random spaces between thumbs. No need for a scroll0bar on this site. Try tightening it up so it all fits on a single page.
Might be worth making the thumbs consistent. Some have white borders, some have none, one has a bevel border. It's subtle, but makes things nicer.
