Hi all! In this thread I will lay out the process of creating a character named Nikolas Angel from the movie Hot Fuzz. Initially I was doing it for Moviefest, but do not meet the deadline. I want to finish the work and hope i will have good result. In the end, I want to get a beautiful render from Keyshot and a low poly render in Cryengine. Now I have finished the body, and finishing guns (shotgun, pistol and rifle). The model and its presentation will be a copy of the poster. Waiting for your feedbacks.

Only crit I can offer is that the sleeves look too wide at the ends, and that I doubt Simon Pegg has EVER had arms so well toned! Fantastic work!
Also about small details on weapon, i decide to generate all logos on normal map, i thin it will look more cleat and i should not devide mesh to create crazy polycount in the scene.
Yep, i try to bake this and if i will have bad result i simply turn down creases eterations.
Also about the baking. When i start baking i dont know whre to do this. Max, Maya or Xnormal. I dont know what algoritm Cryengine use, so normals from max and Xnormal looks same, but maybe if i put normals from Maya into Cryengine it may looks bad. So if you have advices about it please post it. Thanks.
no no its fine, you got it right with Angel. It was just a small running joke from the film but perhaps it doesnt carry over too well if its translated to russian. regardless this looks awesome and gets me super excited to see it finished. seeing this thread actually made me go watch the movie the other day.
Anyway awesome work man! =D
