Windows 8 Compatibility Issues?

Hey Guys,

I can't get the new Crydev engine to open on Windows 8. Is anybody else having this problem?

I asked over at Crydev.net and someone mentioned that the 32 bit editor works, but I haven't had any luck with that either.

Does anybody know of a good workaround?

32 bit editor works when you start it with administrator rights. As for 64 bit CryEngine doesn't support Windows 8 yet. Hopefully it will change in the future.

The 64 bit CryEngine SDK works well, version 3.5.3 (I use Windows 8.1 preview)

I posted on crydev about this I am able to run the 32bit version just fine

What cards are you guys running? I'm using a 7970 AMD; you think it could be that?

I'm on an EVGA GTX 570. 3.4.5 and 3.5.3 haven't worked in 64-bit at all for me.

I use GT635 in my laptop and the latest beta driver.

GT650m with the latest drivers.
Haven't upgraded to 8.1 yet.
32 bit runs and 64 does not.
