I'm pretty much new to polycount, i've been a lurker for quite a while.
for those of you that visit Facepunch you'll know that I usually make concepts for TF2 and have a few selfmades. but now i'm wanting to try my hand at making some Dota 2 concepts, which is now possible seeing as Spudnik has made those character Concept Sheets, so yeah watch this space.

it would be more harmonic if it would be either a bigger and a smaller one, or 3 with maybe 2big and 1small or 2small and with 1bigger. besides that good work in ur thread, allover.

Pretty cool idea though, i really like to see more perspective/quarter view of your concepts, or maybe just back, cause it is really kinda hard to imagine his silhouette with just a front view like this
@Quockhanhik, Yeah i really dig Mr.Tree. You're right, i should focus on adding more angles to my concepts, i'll try drawing some up for this treant set soon.
in my opinion, i think there are a few things you can try out (but im not sure if it will look good)
1.) make the shoulder a bit higher to lift the volume up to look more big and tough
2.) make your design a bit more sharp edge rather than all round shape
although i know the idea should be round since that's what it should looks like, but in a battlefield, i feel as though he has to look more rock like a warrior
but ya, that's just my opinion! it looks well anyway ^o^!
And maybe the stumps on top are too large (don't need to redo concept for that, but maybe have them modeled a bit smaller.
Here's an idea for a Tidehunter set that i've had floating around at the back of my head for a while.
Not sure whether it is too gory etc.
