Hello all,

I had quite a few unfinished models left over from my personal project from my last semester (alot untextured..etc), and thought what the hey. Let's actually finish some of them! Hopefully I'll end up with some nice pieces to put into my portfolio as I look for a job..

The art style was originally inspired by TF2, although I'm hoping to evolve it into its own identity. The actual project was called Salt War, which would of supposedly been a third-person shooter/RTS hybrid with players controlling Slug soldiers.

Anyways here's the fictional machine gun model. I just finished the UVs today and am starting work on the actual texture itself.

    The muzzle brake really should have some slots for the escaping gasses; that's pretty much its purpose. You can go for a helical twist if you want a hi-tech look:

    The triangular piece towards the end of the piece seems to have no purpose.

    You might add a folding bipod under the barrel.
