Female Warder

Hey everyone! Long time since i posted, gotten really bad at uploading stuff in forums and so on. Anyways, this is a model i've been working on for some time now. I consider it mostly done now, but crits are , as always extremely welcome.

So this was originally inteded as an entry to a polycount/mixamo challenge for making a victorian explorer a while ago, obviously i didnt make the deadline :(

I went pretty high on the polycount because, well i didnt really have a budget and wanted to go a bit higher than i usually do.

Presentation shots:

I dig the model. Also really glad to see her in something close to actual victorian dress. :)
The Presentation shots are kinda killing all the work you put in though.
Shes a mass of shadows. Perhaps a few more light sources or an IBL solution would be in order? Also whatever it is in her hand is totally lost. I can see you detailed it, but its just a lens flare in most of the shots.
Her facial structure and hair is lovely, but something about how its lit or the texturing, or something is making her feel.. off.
Nice work on the damask skirt.:)

Very good point! Thanks for the input! Unfortunately, presentation is often where i fall short..

Anwyay, i took your advice and lightened up the render with a 3 point light setup. Also i used a softened sky to provide ambient lighting in marmoset.

This does look cool... I like the sculpt but something seems to get broken in the pose, I think it is around the shoulder area, she seems to be pulling her shoulders so far back! The face looks really sweet in the sculpt also but doesn't quite look the same in the low poly? It looks like its been shot with a wide angle lens and is distorting her a bit. Keep pushing it and you will have an awesome piece!
