I've been seeing this (f/m) thing next to some job openings, such as "3D Environment Artist (f/m)", but the job description doesn't seem to reveal what it is. Anyone knows?
blame the german language. For example webdeveloper is masculine in German. So that nobody thinks they're discriminating against women you make it really obvious, and proper according to the law, that you're also willing to hire female webdeveloper (webdeveloperesses?). In German you usually have (m/w) at the end, guess they have to translate that part as well to keep it in accordance with the German law.

I see... now that you mention it, it does only happen to positions located in Germany. Thanks all!
