Studio Profile:
Established in 2006, Ubisoft Sofia has quickly become one of the group’s most versatile studios. In its first 6 years, the studio has already developed a rich portfolio, ranging from casual games to flight simulations, and covering a wide range of platforms and technologies including Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars 3DS, Prince of Persia Trilogy HD PS3, Imagine: Fashion Designer 3DS, Prince of Persia Classics PSN, Chessmaster: The Art of Learning DS & PSP, and most recently Assassin’s Creed III Liberation for the PlayStation VITA.

Currently the studio is working on Assassin’s Creed Black Flag.

Job Responsibilities:
· Delivers in a single iteration a work in accordance with the project's artistic direction;
· Efficiently applies graphic principles in his work;
· Applies optimization to his work;
· Suggests images in line with the project's artictic direction;
· Uses and looks for artistic references - in video games or in other artistic domains - in order to improve the visual aspect of the game;
· Is comfortable with the platform and engine constraints;
· Supports the team in any activities which are within his scope of expertise and are in line with the development needs (lighting, promotional illustrations and images)
· Work with 3D/Lighting/Texture artists and Level designers to guide them implementing the conceptual ideas inside the game.
· Efficiently uses the archive tools.

Job Requirements:
· Enthusiasm and desire to work in the game development industry;
· Ability and desire to work in creative and collaborative teams;
· Excellent conceptual illustrative skills and ability to adopt to different artistic styles.
· Very good conceptual illustrative skills;
· Very good sense of form, shape, silhouette, surface materials in regards to houses or other structures, landscapes and environment objects;
· Very good work rate of iterations to find the and requested results;
· Very good sense for details;
· Has good knowledge of one 2D software;
· Delivers illustrations under specific guidelines;
· Good communication skills;
· Ability to understand technical constraints and to integrate them in their work;
· Interest in computer and video games;
· Ability to manage their own time and work within deadlines;
· Good English skills;
· Minimum 5 years of related work experience; Experience in games development.
