Hello,
I made a character in Softimage by mirroring its center. So the right side looks exactly like the left side and both use the same texture. And all looks good.
But when I import it to 3dsmax, to animate it there, then the right side texture is distorted. In the UV Editor both side lay exactly on the same place, why is the right side then different?
Can you help me?

If its simple geometry you can try to triangulate automatically and then quadrify it again. This will create a new vertex order which should export correctly but can destroy the edgeflow.
thank you for your help. I tried you adivces and the problem lay by FBX! As i imported it as OBJ it WORKED! Good to know for future work.
