I'm doing a little research project and thought the international audience we've got here might be a useful source of suggestions.
I'm looking for examples of the sorts of game shows where the players are tasked with working their way through an elaborate environment. In Australia we used to have one called "A*Mazing"
A*mazing: Coolbinia vs Bibra Lake - YouTube
And dug one up on Youtube called "Legends of the Hidden Temple"

There are probably loads of these shows that have popped up all over the world. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

And not to derail the thread, but these articles are really interesting about Legends of the Hidden Temple and Carmen Sandiego and how utterly brutal they were.

The environment is kind of made up of bad Cg instead of being an inflatable obstacle course like some :P

It's Australian TV from the 80's so I'm pretty sure that in retrospect it's completely terrible
It's a Knockout and its ilk aren't quite what I'm after - more working through an elaborate, themed environment, less people getting pummeled by inflatables and falling into water.
That GUTS set is pretty amazing. Looks like a Brutal Legend environment.
