Curious if anyone knows how to look at my scene in the editor in just albedo mode - just the flat textures, with no lighting or anything. I'm assuming there is a way/command, yes?
To add to this, I'd also like to know if there's a command to view the scene with normals + flat gray diffuse. e_defaultmaterial applies the checkerboard to everything.
@Grimmstrom - Since Im using a visarea with dynamic lights I was just turning off the lights by typing e_DynamicLights 0 in the console. I also changed the ambient color for the visarea to be grey. I dont know if this is the best way to do it but it worked for me )
Of course you might have to be using a vis area like is described in the post, but its an option...wouldnt be hard to set one up if you arent using one either.
As for the view lighting only option, I would be interested in something like that as well......
I think there's a CVar to disable Post Effects too, but I'm not sure how far that goes since there isn't really a post-process editor to my knowledge. It may just be the bloom and HDR settings disabled.
In the Art and Technology behind Crysis 3, there were a few screenshots of Crysis 3 levels during development in different modes to test values. There is a Flat Shading mode and Clipping Control mode(for the TVs without full 0-255 color). Hopefully we'll see those in 3.5, unless there's something like that now? I did a few searches in the Wiki and nothing came up.
