@Dylan Brady Yeah I think, I am using same approach as Ryan Kingslein. I duplicated the body and then inflate it with negative value, then I start to sculpt on it. I did not try sketching with polypaint, I will try that next time. Thanks for the other tips also and the Halflock fold image!

I am having some doubts for the face topology on the elf, does it look like it could be animated? I don't have any experience animating faces, so I am just doing this based on some references. Things that I am wondering are forehead meeting nose and all those pole positions.
You really need to maintain clean loops flowing around the mouth in a circle. You have a ton of weird connections at the corner of the mouth that just won't work well.
