I am currently working on an easy to use 3D paint program for creating voxel and polygon models. It is targeted for ppl that like to create 3D stuff without spending much time on learning maya/blender/etc.

Feedback is highly appreciated to make it as easy to use and powerful as possible.

The usage is as follows:

Left Mouse Button : Draw / Add Polygon Points Clockwise
Middle Mouse Button : Pan
Right Mouse Button : Rotate / Cancel Polygon
Mouse Wheel : Brush Z

You can fetch the latest version here:

It is still under construction, so many features are not yet implemented.
(load/save, procedural, smooth,smear, .. )

Tried to run it, it wouldn't :(

I'm on windows 8 if that helps any?

Edit: My bad i was being dumb, it works and it's pretty cool. Still a long way to go before I can find it useful. Export would be nice.

    Great it works.
Yes, export is not implemented yet. There will be an obj export for the mesh (smooth or cube).

My main focus is first to make the handling easy and intuitive - yet it should be possible to construct accurate 3d models.

The smooth shade button is the wrong way round. when the light is on its off. the actual program is pretty cool.

edit:actaully i could be wrong. it give the effect of being smoothed (softer shading) when its off. (voxel mode). i guess the actaul smooth mode is the polymode which seems to have harsher shading. meh anyways fun to use.

Ah, smooth is not meant to be for the shading. It is a selector if the voxels are represented as blocks or as smooth surface. this seems to be misleading.

for creating a game character e.g., is there any major tool missing you would like to have ?
