On a related note, dota_camera_distance in the console lets you get a little closer. But of course it might distort the character because of the FOV, so that's to be used carefully.

If I had to squeeze out one crit, though, I think you should remove the ears, to enhance the negative space there, really make the curved stone pop. But it's a teeny crit, it still looks great regardless.
Haha i made that kind of design for my belt yesterday but yours is waaay better. Maybe purists will say the collar thingies change the silhouette, but i really like it. From a book about ancient chinese art, that's really the kind of shape they made with more squarrish spirals. I'm not sure you'll have enough texture resolution to make them unsymmetrical, but whatever.

Yeah the technical limits are harsh, it hurts. It's probably the first thing to check when concepting, make a little blocking to check how far you can go. I feel it's a bit limiting when you'd maybe just need 50 or 100 tris more to make smthing a bit more original.
Love how the set came out but the diffuse on the neck stone thing seems really out of place. It either needs some more variation with the jade being accents or the backdrop but as it stands right now it looks unfinished.
