Hello Everyone!
Recently our project received quite a bit of attention, and we decided that we should make a recruitment post here for any people who may be interested in helping us out with this project!
About the Project
Project Contingency is a fan-made halo game set in the halo universe, it is currently being developed for the PC and will be using the CryEngine 3 SDK. That being said, Project: Contingency is not "another Halo HD CryEngine project", nor is it a continuation of Halo. We are creating aspects unique to the halo series in a ton of new and exciting ways while retaining the core Halo feel. While we can't reveal much info just yet, we are certain that what we do reveal will be exciting.
About the Team
Our team consists of many different types of people, from high school aged students, to industry veterans. From developers in France, to developers in Brazil, we all come together for our mutual Halo franchise. Not a Halo fan? This project may still be profitable to you as it could be a great opportunity to expand your portfolio and your skill set.
Our team consists of over 20 developers(not including applicants), a number that grows with each day. Recently we have received over 40 applications from people eager to join. However, please note that almost all of the developers on our team do this in their free time, allowing them to attend school or work, so we understand if you are unable to commit a ton of your time to this.
The Showcase
Here are some of the things we have been working on. Please note that these are Works in Progress and are readily subject to change. Please also note that this is only a small amount of what we currently have, and does not accurately portray our efforts thus far.
Wanna help out?

One of our devs actually recently was at RTX where he spoke with both Frank O'Connor (Franchise Development Director at 343) and Jessica Shea (Community Manager), they confirmed what we had expected. So long as we abide by Halo's terms of service, we should have no problems.
In short this means:
1. We cannot use any trademarked logos or use the name "Halo" in the title, this is to avoid confusion between Microsoft's products, and fan made ones.
2. We cannot use any assets that are not our own, or infringe someone else's rights to assets through our game.
3. We cannot make a penny of this project. Which we have absolutely no plans of doing.
Thanks for expressing your concerns though, as I'm sure many others may have similar ones.
Wow. We have gotten well over 250 applications thus far, and our team size has nearly tripped. Thanks to all the individuals who applied! As a quick update we are no longer looking for a lot of the positions previously listed. However we are still looking for talented environment artists, and 3d generalists.
If you are interested in the project, and you have skills that you think would benefit a game design team feel free to give us a shout!
We added 2 more concept art images from our project to the recruitment post as well.
Our project also has been featured on kotaku, if you are interested in reading the article, you can find it here
Thanks!
