Hey polycounters!
A little late for the competition but I thought I'll give it a shot anyhow!
Due to the limited time, I'm just gonna do a scene from Killzone where a helghast sniper is perched on some ruined structures

: Nope, just push and pulled the verts. But I will rig him for the final pose.

So I finally had time to nail down his textures.
Currently using a 256x256,will scale it down for the final.
On to the weapon and the enviroment!

Tried out the alpha while taking a break from modelling the environment.
Something went wrong with the alpha, or I am just stupid
Anyway 128x128 texture version!

The thing with alphas is that you need to separate your objects so that no surfaces of the same object overlap from any angle. It doesn't know what face to render in front of the other otherwise.

I like what you have done using the broken alpha to your advantage and making it look like he is mid cloak

Redid the rifle mesh, now with more sniper included!

- Thanks! Kind of heading for the old metal gear solid 3 style,a bit more pixelised though.

- Well, I guess the rifle could be considered a "hero" piece, so ~500 tri. But it really is a gray area...:poly132:

Finally nailed down the weapon colours so it wouldn't be too distracting.

Graphic card died
I guess I will not be finishing this competition. Good luck to all the other fantastic entries!
