(MAYA 2013) Render Settings Disappeared

Hey guys, have any of you ever come across this issue before?
We've tried:
-Opening a new scene and importing the objects with no luck
-using scripts (http://www.fuse-design.org/blog/tutorials-cg/maya-fix-broken-render-settings-window)
Here's what it looks like (render settings are blank for every drop down)
