Been lurking around these forums for some time, getting useful tips and tricks to use and help me improve.. Time to start sharing what I've been learning!

I'm working on a couple of weapons to showcase with some armor models I've been making for the indie game "Three". I'm going to work on a longsword, greatsword, mace and some type of shield. Haven't decided if it should be a kite or round shield. Here are their base meshes I worked on yesterday.
After getting the basemeshes in a good spot I moved onto the Longsword. Below are the different armor sets I'm working on equipping with weapons so I can pose and showcase them. Under the suits is the zbrush sculpt of the longsword. I finished that up in two or three hours late last night.

Anyway, here's my very first Zbrush bust.
A month later and I started pushing myself to make stuff for video games and got involved with an indie project..
On top of modeling I helped design the concept for their demo level and made the block out for the other modelers to have a reference to follow. This is all still very much a work in progress. You can see more info about the level I helped to design on my website.
So anyway, started work on a greatsword for a different armor set. Here's the zbrush sculpt and dDo masks. Just about to start getting a base diffuse and spec from there and then bring it into photoshop after for more texturing.
