Low-poly Bake, Max viewport grabs. Retopo crashed 3 times...my saving ability sucks.
Might go back to the stomach area and re-bake. Then again, it's gonna be covered in paint anyway so I dunno..One of these-
dustinbrown: Cheers dude - yeah I tend to hog the noisemaker function. I've toned it down throughout now [I didn't have chance to grab a screenshot of what it's like now] and sculpted more volume into everything.
Everything is looking great so far. I really dig the top third and middle second paint scheme. My only thought is that on Odin's armor it looks a little too thin. Maybe thicken it up a little, the upper layers. Just a thought. Can't wait to see where it goes!
evilblah: Cheers for the feedback. I agree, I'm really struggling with the armour actually. Its why I moved on to Thor for the time being - hopefully a fresh pair of eyes will help me when I get back on him. I've done a thousand paint overs for it and can't seem to nail it.
My plan is to have his two ravens on each shoulder, so that should help with the silhouette, hopefully.
Not sure whether to go full battle armour or ornamental...more research.
At this rate, I'll have finished freya before I go back to Odin XD
Couple of updates, full bake down to low poly. Sitting at around 5k poly's 12k tri's
Xoliul shader is throwing up a couple of alpha issues, but apparently its because max messed everything up.
It's nice to have the base down anyway, just have to concentrate on texture now.
Hey dude nice work! I really like the Gungnir spear and the thors hammer its similar to the one i wear to honor thor. Also the Raven image on odin is great!

Update for the lols, taking it off tomorrow XD
Playing around with Mjonir, Thor's hammer. The design was all hand drawn in Zbrush. Something strangely satisfying about designing knots.
