Just starting my thread, I'm going to tackle the initial morgue from the Snes Shadowrun which was one of my favorite games ever. Can't wait to play Shadowrun Returns
EDIT***** Started to mess around with sketchfab.

Still working out the models, I'm going to finish the morgue room first, then tackle the office if time permits. I would like to do some characters too. 3 weeks is going to be tight!
Some progress during lunch.
@Lando_Mange - me too, I think I've got a cool idea with this, I just hope I have enough time to finish it all!
Last night I didn't have a ton of time, but I did get a small reusable pipe set done. the set was about 86tri and use a 64x64 texture.
Interior
Exterior
Definintly gonna follow this!
Good luck with the challenge.
@T.Bull - Thank, and yes one of the best franchises ever, except the shooter!
Some lunch work, just wrapped up the texture on the mini fridge and re modeled the door to have a bit more of a sci-fi look to it.
@mariomanzanares- Thanks man, the game is great you should give a spin or just play the Shadowrun Returns. No real tutorial to tell you the truth but I'll try to put a break down of a texture together this week.
Some more texture updates. With the door assets since it was so big I chose to use a 128X128, so I guess it will be a hero Item. I might try to tackle it again to get it's texture smaller.
@JimmyRustler- Thanks man!
Keep it up!
Keep up the awesome work, dude!
@klamp - I have the new one sitting on my hardrive waiting for me to finish this comp!
I got a bit more modeling done, I was hoping to have all of the environment models done, but I have a few to go. I'm hoping to wrap up all of the environment work this weekend. Fingers crossed.
Do you have any advice for texturing to this quality?
I guess maximize UV space and tile like a muzzafacka
I also put this small image together explaining my process for the textures. I hope this helps a bit, a lot of it is just playing around and seeing what works and doesn't work.
So was it at 256x256 before you scaled it down to 64x?
@JimmyRustler thank you, glad it can help.
Ok so I've got just about all the props done. 3 more to go and it's off to do some characters. I've got a issue with the plant, so I'll redo that so it doesn't need transparency, and save all the alpha's for decals. I've also updated the sketch fab if you go to the top of this thread.
My only crit would be to make a better distinction between the interior of the morgue and the street. The corner just bends into it so it appears as if the morgue is outside. I also think you could incorporate some more cyber-punk elements, maybe some holograms, more garbage and junk outside of the building, maybe even a gang fight or something. I can't wait to see what else you do with this.
@minorthreat - I totally will add more if time permits, I want to get my plan done first then I'm up polishing it like crazy.
So today, no screens yet, I did wrap up 2 more environment props. I have one more to finish and I'll get the final environment uploaded. I also started to work on the main character in the scene. I have 2 characters planned a female version of Jake Artimage, and some Lone Star Police
Here is my current progress, she's currently sitting at 498 tri. I've got a bit of clean up to do and some tweaking to the head then I think I can work on the props.
CC welcome, not much of a character guy.
Just crude block outs atm, but I think it will work.
Just started the texture work for the swat characters, still at 256x256 atm. I might have them done tonight then I'll model their props and toss them on to a single texture sheet too.
The blue/red wires and the road paint are way too bright for tertiary details. They are screaming for attention and my eye goes to them immediately. I'd cut that back quite a bit.
I'm also not a fan of the brick wall texture. Maybe it's that weird "medium-well" color, I'm not sure. But brick walls are a dime a dozen and come in all kinds of flavors, so I wouldn't be too worried about it.
@Spacey - Yeah I need to do a bit of value balancing in all of the textures yet. Thanks for the feedback
So I got the textures for the lonestar officers done, Orge, Dwarf, and Elf. I think they turned out alright. I'm going to do their props next then get them rigged up so I can get them placed around the scene.
