Paid Contract Work - Background Animations
We are looking for a competent animator to take over on a task of animating 2D stages that are built in a 3D environment.  A good example of this would be the old street fighter backgrounds or backgrounds in other side scrolling fighters.  For an exact example of this method executed with our proprietary game engine, look into the game Big Hangman Of Fortune on iOS and Android.
The core 2D artwork is complete and assembled in a 3D scene.  We need an animator to come in and bring the art to life.  The assembly 3D art for ambient effects will be needed.  New 2D art will be supplied as needed.
Short example - Forest Background - create animated effects such as falling leaves, creepy eyes showing up in the dark, light fog, fireflies.  Animate the effects for 3 idles.  Animate certain effects to behave differently during certain game events.
- Must animate in 3Ds Max
- Develop and test scenes so they 	work with multiple Aspect Ratios
- The entire scene and all scene 	effects must reference a single artist atlased image
- Must be aware of issues with 	Absolute Local Scale, Negative Scaling, and the importance of 	resetting an objects transform, reset xform, before animating
- Must have an understanding of 	Hierarchies and be able to link a scene with hierarchy guidelines.
- Must understand the importance of 	naming conventions and the ability to strictly adhere to a set 	naming scheme.
- Must know how to animate using 	visibility tracks.
