Sven - Rune Forged Outcast Blade - WIP

This is my first ever attempt at making a weapon for Sven in Dota 2.



Did a paintover to give myself a better idea of how it will look once I have completed the base mesh to take into zbrush. It's still unfinished but tomorrow I will add more variations and finish the base of the handle.



Also here's a variant with runes added, I have no idea if it's possible but I figured it would be cool so that when Sven casts warcry it would give the runes a nice glow effect.



Here's the red variant when he casts God's Strength.

sven's got a detail map that glows pink and yellowish when he has god's strength active, but i think you can pull of that rune effect with the self-illum mask as well
