male model hair help?

Hi, i've started a male model, but not sure how to get a nice hair effect, i have sculpted it in really roughly so i have an idea of how it will look, but i'm not sure if i will get away with it. Any ideas? can I carry on with it like this? or can someone point me in the direction of a better method?

for longer hair make it a separate model. also what do you plan to do with the model? is it just for display or do you intend to animate it? if you look at most games they draw the hair on the head but then add some extra pollys on top to control the hair. take a look at the tutorials in the wiki they have some great examples. however again it's best to decide based on what the model will be used for.

oohh @loki1991 i will only pose it and have it as a static model for a portfolio piece. So display only.

UPDATE. i tried to sculpt the hair then paint a hairtexture on it but it came out really bad. removed it. cansomone help with the hair problem

updadte. Got the hair to work. used fibermesh is Zbrush. not sure this is the most efficient way. but It works. maybe i'll give him a frisbee?
