Starting up my sketchbook thread! I would adore absolutely any and all feedback. I'm always looking to grow and improve as an aspiring artist!

Throwing up a work-in-progress master study sculpt as my first sketchbook post. So far I reworked my deconstruction images and my base mesh, and I'm going to pose and begin sculpting on her tonight.

Got the base pose,volume, and proportion going. Still very rough. Working with a zSphere rig was a lot more challenging than I thought it was going to be! The face got really messed up somewhere along the way and I didn't notice until much later. :whyme: Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I could fix it? Or maybe I should just decapitate her and try again? Her right hand (the one over her chest) was also giving me a lot of problems and doesn't look right.

A project a did for a class a few months ago -- a painted character turn around. I'm really looking to spice this guy up, his overall design is kinda plain in my opinion. I did it because I really struggle with interesting male character designs and I wanted to try and get over it a little bit by forcing myself out of my comfort zone. Hopefully if I shove him in here I'll remember to come back to him later when I'm feeling a bit more inspired.

A few more updates-- a hammer head and hyena hybrid I did as part of a hybrid animal theme at school, and more progress on Venus.

Those paws are gross, I'm warning you now.
