Hey guys,
Time for some accountability...! Sketchbook time!
So for my first entry: Earlier this summer I decided that I wanted to get back into character modeling, which was something I really enjoyed a number of years ago, but have become severely rusty with. To get my feet wet again, I've decided to do a set of ten face studies in Maya (which is the part of character modeling that made me squirm the most thinking about getting back into--hence jumping in with both feet!).
I just finished study
#2, and I'd really love some feedback!

Also, I'm fairly certain I'm the last person on the planet to discover this, but p3d is pretty freaking awesome! Here's a link to the mesh:

A million thanks in advance for any input! I'm really looking forward to improving my skills!

He's based on an awesome tut on 3DTotal. Really glad to have found it.

I'm thinking about rounding back and doing a texture pass on all of them once I hit five models.
