Hi, I recently started modelling and began a simple project to learn trough.
I made a mess by makink a high poly, then figured I would need a low poly wich I lost in the way through lovely Dynameshes.
Finished my low poly, made a lame UV to check if it worked a little at least.
Did, so I refined the UVs, went back to baking normals and got this:

Why is this "thing" happening? This contrast, how do I handle it?
Thanks!

However, from the pics I see bad smoothing groups, missed calculations (meaning hipoly and lowpoly were not close enough and/or you didn't use a cage\envelope properly) and a seam (from the bad uvs\smooth groups).
I suggest you to study this http://wiki.polycount.com/NormalMap it will save you a lot of time in the future.
