Maya crashing on boot

Hey guys I got an emergency here.
So when I went to start up maya today it kept crashing when it was finnished booting up.
after that I went and reinstalled maya cause I thought it might be some file somewhere being a trouble maker.
still same issue.

Recently though my graphics took a hit and has been performing poorly, but I don't know why it would suddenly cause maya to not wanna start anymore. softimage also still runs like it should.

All settings will be reset, but it will work.
