I'm kicking off my sketchbook with a character I've been poking at for a while. I'll be adding more doodles and projects down the road, and I welcome feedback and critique.
This fella's design started with the idea of being able to cast 'spells' in a cyberpunk themed FPS. He needed a power source and some way to focus and direct that energy with his hands. It's all attached to his skeleton because.....the future!

Quick bust because I've been enjoying XCOM lately and have aliens on the brain. Based on a sketch by Al Rio. The goal is to do a lot more of these types of things as exercises between time spent on my other projects. We'll see how that goes.
