Main Toolbar Editing - Max 2013

Howdy gents. Work just 'upgraded' us to Max 2013.
I'm trying desperately to figure out how to remove icons from the MAIN toolbar.
I did a clean up back in the day of my main toolbar in 2009, but can't recall the process.
Now, in 2013, while some icons can be removed via Right Click>Delete Button, many others cannot. For instance, "Schematic View (Open)" does nothing on Right Click, and the Snap % button opens up the snap config window.
How do I rid myself of these icons I never use?

Hold Alt + click + drag off the menu. Huzzah!
