As the titles says, is there a way for me to 'hug', or warp my mesh to that of another mesh, in a simple fashioned way and in realtime, as I make the changes?
I tried a few scripts, like those of Retopology based solutions, but they all tend to shoot all over the place, and as scripts, tend to be a tad slow.

After really recalling the process involved with a skin wrap and morpher, It probably wouldn't be of any use to you in real time.
there is a move tool (vertices) and a conform tool (like a big brush) that you can use for it, might have to play a bit with the offset.
Skin wrap is to deform a mesh along another skinned mesh. Not what you want
Anyhow, cheers, I will try them and Slidknit too.
PS: I cannot use TurboTools since I'm still on Max 2009 :P
