Your 'Contact' and 'Bio' link at the top do not work. It seems repetitive to have a thumbnail for your bio page on the homepage and also have a link on the top right. Not a big fan of lyrical music in the videos. I can't click and open the pictures in another window to be able to better view your texture sheets.

Just noticed i still had the bio and contact in the top right and have removed them.

I dont quite understand what you mean with the texture sheets. Clicking on them opens them up in a new page at a larger size. Do they eed to be bigger? at the moment im at 512x512. maybe change them to 1k square?

I personally prefer good still images over a video - they allow me time to really evaluate the models.

If possible include a link to the finished product for the internship. Renders from the actual engine would help as well.

Music can be a problem with reels. If you don't have permission to use the works, you face legal issues and will raise red flags with many employers. Even if you can use the tracks, you can turn-off people who don't share your taste in music.

In your destructible building scene, I think adding a rotation to the smoke sprites would help sell the effect. I also think a brown or tan color would more accurately represent the dust raised when a building collapses.

look your work is way better then mine but i am going to be brutishly honest here. your work looks average at best.

i wold probably work on creating a few life like models that aren't used in games to have up there as well as trying to make 1 or 2 models used in the current next gen consoles. watch some of the game play videos they have for the new games and see if you can create models that look like that or even better if you can.

now keep in mind that there is more to how awesome something looks then just how high detailed the model is. for the building destruction one i know you wanted to show off the phics (weren't the best but way better then i can do) but everything looks the same if you had a bit of variety then it would help display the effects way better and by that i mean a brick building will fall and crumble differently to that made of other materials. and also the glass didn't seem to smash ether.

it does look like you just finished a course and have some great potential but now your job should be taking your skills to the next level. this industry is always evolving and trying to keep up with the pros is going to be hard but i'm sure you can do it. and i'm sure you do know it takes a long time to build really amazing models but i just have to say it again take your time and don't rush.

the point is you look average, i don't want to sound mean but sorry, and with so many people wanting a job in this industry you need to show them why they should pic you over others.

    edit; fixing some grammar.

SO i have added a bunch of stills to the internship page to hopefully make everything a bit easier to take your time and look at. Also, some banner which link to the games which contain the assets.

@Loki, you are right in the fact that the portfolio would be stronger with amazing AAA pieces to put on there. the problem is that I simply do not have those kind of pieces to show off. Maybe I might get some more work done over time but for now this is all I have to give.

Oh, I should also add that the music is free from Jamendo.com, so there should be no issues with licensing.

Also, When it comes to the color of the dust and smoke. The greyish color was what i found to be closest to my reference. I gues it depends on the material the building is constructed of as the building in the image is built up of a redish brick. This will probably have an effect on the color of the dust.
