Step 62, We still have a problem with the other side of the banana. We add a turbosmooth to find out how Mudbox will subdivide the mesh. Next we have to get rid of that weird pinching. Also Tri's are trying to read as quads. Chaos all over.
Step 81, Repeat the process for 8 bananas total. To be continued.

Please feel free to take these and learn. Please feel free to critique if you guys find faster ways of approaching this as well. Would love the help. I am just journalizing to see what my progress looks like exactly step by step. I could use some help with different techniques as well. Thanks,
Thanks Ninjas. Sorry I have not been back in a while to post guys. I wanted to enter VGRemix and pull off some low poly stuff. Here it is. Now that I have more time I am going to do the entire Outset Island and make it feel even more lego like. But before that, the banana tutorial for you guys.
Alright guys so here is what is going down. I have decided to stop my banana tut. Sorry Guys I will post the full thing later. I have to finish my thesis and will use this thread to show progression. I found out what I want to do to get it done and the VG Remix contest helped me with that and getting me onto a path of workflow. I have three environments to finish. One is a beach scene, the second is a cave scene and the third is a menehune village. I am starting with the beach environment. Here is a concept of one of the main props in the beach environment. Lots to work on as I have to start over because of file corruption. A Map as well. I started some of the 3D Modeling and texturing and I am going for a painterly feel. So here it goes, from here on out I will be posting on my thesis and showing you guys my progress. Because this is what I need to do. Thanks,
Here is the ground texture I am using for this guy. I wanted to give it some interesting concrete shapes. Still keeping the painterly style. Having fun with this painting in general. This is from a game I am trying to work on for my thesis. opihiman.com I had to start over from this because the style is not consistent and files were corrupt. The modeling was not the style I intended to go for and the textures were not either. I was being steered into different directions at the time by different peoples. So now it is my time to make this game look beautiful. I want to finish the three environments before December 2013. If anyone has any advice or suggestions please feel free to do so. Thanks,

Here is my new upload of my sketchfab model for you guys to take a look at. Still chugging away. I have a lot to do. Sticking with blue and orange analagous colors and will probably put some light orange in concrete or blue in anything that is not those colors. Learning from Sly Cooper. The Pavillion and concrete and DJ equip is all on 1 512x512. The only thing that isn't are the alpha fence and alpha table legs textures. Looking better. Need more story.
Alright guys!!! I have not been back in a while but I have a new tutorial going. I will finish up the Banana tut for you guys. I totally forgot about it. Just sitting there collecting hard drive space. All in all I got a new tutorial for you guys. The Crate. Teaches y'all on how to create a game ready crate 3D Model using multiple softwares such as Maya, 3D Studio Max, Unreal, Unity, Crazybump, and Phototshop. You can choose which route you want to take after using Photoshop with texturing. Choose a 3D Modeling software such as Maya, and 3D Studio Max for applying the texture to a box. Crazybump for Normal and Spec map generation with the diffuse texture. Exporting with correct scale with Maya or 3D Studio Max, you choose. And bringing it into your engine of choice UDK or Unity and setting up a scene to import them into. Or you can learn them all. This tutorial is intended to show beginners on how easy it is to create a model to bring into a videogame engine. Thanks for watching and subscribe to my channel at Instructa Bot. Will post some cool speed models on there and more tutorials. Thanks,
Alright guys, its been awhile since i been on here. Just letting you all know what im currently working on. I am working on getting a prehistoric animal to come back to life called the Anomalocaris. This will eventually be a 3dmodel that is textured and animated. Cant wait to get this on sketchfab. Built up my fossil reference and here is part of my process from concept:
