Hi guys, after a while, I recycled a Merle´s head I had, and decided to continue it for "next gen games", so i finally finished the sculpting.
C&C are welcome!
excellent stuff....only bit i'm not keen on is the shape of the boot...feels a little boxy at the moment...lookig forward to seeing the textures on this guy, esp how you handle the hair

Hi seth, thanks for your comment, is very useful. I will try with a most organic shape for the boots.
I'll keep you in touch, cheers!
Think the likeness is spot on but the stubble was more subtle - you could probably include that in the texture rather than alphas. Can't wait to see him textured!
Good job Especially on the clothes, which is really well done. Before you go into retopo, you should consider looking at the anatomy of a forearm, though, as yours is quite a bit off. It's a shame, since the rest of the model is so badass, and if you get correct anatomy in the forarms, it would bring it all to a new level.
Looking forward to see it textured!
EDIT: Now that I scroll back up, I realize you almost don't see the arm. It's just so obvious on the close-up of the arm, that I thought I should mention it

Thanks Torch!, i´ll try with alphas, guess that be subtle with the transparencies, if no i´ll try with the the texture.

Thank you very much Spoon!, I will work a little more on the arms then.
Great sculpting! I agree with Seth that the boots look off. They need more shape (especially noticeable from the front view). Get some good reference for them.
How did you do all the hair plains on his head? Did you manually place each one?

Thank you very much Fomori!, in a moment i`ll update some images of the character with the boots.
I put all the hair planes with the "Object Paint Tool" of "3ds max 2012", it`s great for short hair planes,
Looks awesome man. Great job on the folds. How do you go about sculpting those pockets on the shirt - are they just sculpted or you add separate geo on top of the shirt?

Thanks disanski! i modeled the shirt previously in box modelling with the shape of the pockets, then i did the details with the sculpting.

Thanks "This_Is_Icarus"!!. I'm working two months ago in my free time in this character.

I rounded the shape of the boots, and fix the angle of the arcs. In the forearms i deleted the unnecessary parts and fix some shapes.
Hope that the change will serve.
Cheers!!
Thank you very much davidmlally!!
