Good lord the bike came out awesome. I think it could benefit from some higher quality renders though, aside from the confusing tire material, everything is reading awesome.
The lighting and presentation are lacking in my opinion when compared to the quality of the modeling. Nice job though as a whole, the bike is so sick.
I sat on one of these the other day. Same model, Same colors. Wanted to ride out of the lot on it ^^ Modeling is pretty good. But +1 on some higher quality renders. A great model can look like junk if rendered poorly, and a poor model can look great if rendered well
Not saying this is a junk render, By any means. Just saying you could step up final gather precisions and play with lighting, materials, etc.
I agree that the render could turn out better, it was my first time using Vray so i was experimenting with the lighting / vray material... I'll be learning how to use this renderer next year at school, so i'll probably re-do the materials and lighting, maybe make an environment for it, etc. This is definately not final :P
Bike looks great the but combination of the garage doesn't fit. The bike is too sharp an contrasted compared to the rest. I've got very little experience in setting up an environment around highpoly models for render shots so I don't know what to suggest. Could you maybe do the render 1st with only the environment and then photoshop the bike on top and adjust layers there?
They are actually rendered separately: the point of my school work was to render different objects using layers (diffuse, spec, reflexion, shadows, etc.) and then put them all together to make a comvincing render. The bike is all rendered separately so that problem you're talking about will be very easy to correct. So thanks for the feedback
well, is this the final render? Because right now the bike is just hanging there. It looks really unnatural, you should put some sort of stand, also probably tilt the motorbike just a bit and rotate the wheel a tiny bit.
