Hi guys,
I've been looking into modo and am probably going to take the time to learn it. Could be really beneficial to my modelling.
What's throwing me off is that the tutorials I find are either overly complex and I have no idea what they're doing because I don't know the hotkeys, or are slow and dragged out.
If any of you came from another 3D package and started learning modo, can you link any tutorials that were a large help to you?
The other thing I can't seem to find is game character modelling tutorials for it.
Cheers

Customisation is a big part of modo, you can re-arrange and re-assign pretty much any interface and hotkey. Henning Sanden recently put together a good intro to that over here; http://henningsanden.com/2013/03/31/how-to-optimize-modo-for-faster-modeling/
Some of these are pretty old (modo 30x era) but they're a good introduction to some cool stuff in modo - especially things like action centres.

Game character modelling tutorials will be the same for any app, really. If it's a good tutorial, it'll be teaching you good program-agnostic methods for character modelling. I don't think you'll find any specific to modo.
Not necessarily the whole manual, but the sections that you want to lern about - One by one, learning where each tool is, what it does, it's options etc. Once you know those things you can pretty easily create/recreate your current modeling workflow and transition over.
AFter that - I like these 2 Youtube channels -

Also u can change the default viewport navigation in Modo to be like Maya.Go to System> Preferences > Input > Remapping then choosing Navigation: Maya.
