Any guides on texturing?

Hello y'all! I just wanted to find out if anyone knows of a tutorial which teaches texturing, without any prior knowledge in texturing required.

Also, I just got the ZBrush trial, and after spending an hour in it, I can only say "WT* is that s***?" I guess I gotta read something about it..

Also i recommend watching this. Its made by BoBo who hosted Polycount Darksiders 2 contest here. Its cool, cover Zbrush and some basic texturing. Its little over 2h, however its totally worth to see.

Thanks, I will check it out. So far, I realized that GIMP won't cut it, gotta get PS off someone, and that the best way to learn is watch a couple of videos, and then get your hands dirty.

Hey mate, you can check out vertex magazine it has some articles about diffuse stylized texturing you might find interesting. They are not totally spot on for the dota 2 artstyle with lightmap using and whatnnot, but it can give you some insight.

Yeah,I knew that someone did take that concept. BTW did you give ownership to multitude3? Anyway, I think that I should finally start making serious meshes, and I was more looking for any constructive criticism on that axe, if I made any seriously bad mistakes there, or something.
