Hey everybody, I have a simple question I can't find a good answer to.
Is it better to color correct an image sequence, or to render out the image sequence and color correct the rendered movie file?
Any help is greatly appreciated! :poly124:

The less you render the better. The more times you keep rendering out video the more artifacts and compression show up. You should color correct while you are compositing to get the best quality out of the final render.

Yep, there is a reason Color and other type of 'image/color' correction are done via post chains, instead of on the spot.
