Rooty Isles update

Hey everyone
I'm working on updating an older piece I have:

I love the style and feel, so I'm revisiting this piece. The biggest critiques I get is that the assets aren't as optimized as some of my latest work, and that the scene lacks a story or purpose.
- I'm re-doing the textures for the happy trees (and making a high poly verion for a normals bake)
- re-doing the statue in the center (including a high poly). I want to give it more of a purpose.
This thread will keep track of my progress. Willing to hear any feedback or suggestions.

I absolutly adore those bushes and the barkstyle, but compared to that the statue, bone, stones and water seem somehow lacking. Also the greenery of the trees.
