Sculpting eye lids in zbrush.

I've hit a big wall with this particular part of sculpting. I have no problem with any other part of the body except for this. I've searched digital tutors/youtube/google for ANY viable tuts, but have't found anything too useful.

Does anyone know of a great tut thats helped them with eyelids? Or does anyone have any advice? I do look at references, but it seems its just one of those things thats a bit of an Achilles heel.

Any help would be most appreciate, thanks!

Post an image of what you have now. Maybe someone will be able to identify what you arent doing correctly.

That being said there are a bunch of tutorials online how to sculpt faces..

That video pretty much summed up the most important aspect of eyelids.

They follow the shape of the eyeball. Have those in place and you should be fine. How the skin folds like below the brow is pretty individual to age and all that. Reference is your friend there.

Ill do a couple examples and post them. Was doing a couple studies last night frustration got the best of me and i just cleared the scene.

there are TONS of tuts on sculpting faces, look up zbro in youtube, he's got some great stuff and he's also got a sculpting practice video for features of the face.

Thanks for that video garriola83. I know of that artist, but havent seen this video. Ill have a look at it for sure.

Anyways heres a few screen caps of an hour or so study I did on Saturday.
