Hi all,
There are so many awesome threads on this forum it is very inspiring and quite intimidating :poly121:. I have intended to create a dota 2 thread for sometime with the hope of becoming a bit more involved in the great community that has been inspiring me for sometime, so here I go...
The first I completed was for Outworld destroyer (which I worked on with my friend Jake "cakeypigdog" Gumbleton)called Dragon Forged Armour (was part of the Polycount DOTA 2 contest)...

The second, I actually started before the OD set but it me so long to actually finish it
was for Natures Prophet and was called Outcast...

Most recently I decided to try something a bit different and created a HUD. I always loved the loading screen from DOTA 2, so I tried to use that theme and develop it into a full HUD. I was very proud to find out about 2 weeks ago that valve accepted the HUD and is now in the store! :poly136:
Background of this image is the awesome valve created DOTA 2 loading screen!

Hope you all like it, comments and crit's welcomed of-course!
Cheers

so what's your next set?
iRYO400 - Thanks, I am not sure whats next was talking to a friend about possibly doing a courier, which would be an interesting challenge. :-) I am also thinking of reworking the head of natures prophet as various people have mentioned that it makes him a bit too difficult to recognise.
I have put together a very quick mini "tutorial" of the techniques I used to create the stone elements for the HUD. Its not the most interesting tutorial :-/ but hopefully someone might find it useful.
