Captivate Conference - Austin, TX Oct 6-8

Since GDC Online has left Austin it looks like there's room for a new conference to take it's place. I've always got the feeling GDC online was only there for Designers & Marketing people so it's nice to see some art topics included:

If anyone's planning on traveling to Austin for this maybe we can wrangle up a meetup.

So this is coming up in a month. It's time to start discussing meetups. There are lots and lots and lots of bars in Austin. I'm not really familiar with a lot of places down town, I've been to North Door, Shangri-La and Halcyon. Anyone have suggestions or idears?

Is there a schedule somewhere? Looks like a ton of sessions, and I can't tell when anything is happening. Kinda sucks it's taking place on weekdays during work hours as well.

Im down, I probably wont be going to the conference though since its during the week unless I snab a one day pass and hit up the sessions.

Easy Tiger is a pretty cool place, and Halcyon is good too.
