Hi guys,
I was wondering if anybody can help me to fix this issue. UDK seems to be crashing every time i try to create a material, or import a static mesh/texture etc. I am exporting everything in maya as FBX files, source images are Targas. I have uninstalled, re installed etc.
The specs for my computer are

Available Physical Memory 11.8 GB
Total Virtual Memory 31.9 GB
Available Virtual Memory 26.6 GB

System Type x64-based PC
so it should be able to run this program?
I am at a loss!

Possibly Windows/software thing. Might want to look into that direction as well. Clean up the pc, turn off background things, try to make the environment standard.
Also what names are you giving to all those assets?
