Jesus you made 50 characters and they are all of this quality. YOU ARE A MACHINE. I have to ask how long were you working on the project. If it was a year that would be more than 1 a week? (assuming holidays and down time)
From the early start of the project, I worked on the METRO last 3 years, about the quality, the NPC quality it much worse, but yes, I love my job and ... Machines are living in China, they do not eat and do not sleep much faster than us all)))
I'm not too crazy about the way you rendered out those high poly models. Seems like a lot of the detail is getting washed out, but really awesome work dude! The human characters are totally awesome and the monsters are really neat too.

You're right, I'm not a fan of the render, I just "ingame" modeler and this is my first experience of rendering high poly models.

? His renders are pretty good, the contrast is spot on and I see more than I would need to see. I dont understand what you think you are missing out on the pictures, I can see the small bumps from the fabric and everything.
Maybe he could crank up the GI iterations and whatnot, but it dosnt look really noisy to me. Maybe you mean the soft sampling of the render engine, its a nice way to make it look more realistic and less CG and it works very well, but it is like a really small gaussian blur, thats right.
The blue background & the overall presentation is one of the nicest ive seen from a graphic design perspective, hat off.

Thank you! As I said this is my first rendering experience, but I think that render is really weak.
niiice! I read the article about some of the adversity that you guys faced, I don't know how bad it got but the art certainly didn't suffer for it. great stuff
Great work, but lot of fine details are lost.
Yeah rendering is boring. There is a lazy way to do it - just combine screens of different zbrush matcaps in photoshop
Really impressed. 50 characters, that's quite an achievement to put it lightly.
For building the humans, was there some kit-bashing involved, like you've made yourself a library of pads and stuff to get a quicker start on the gear?

I mean......... incredible
I recognize most of the characters from the game. I loved the game btw, really nice atmosphere.
God like work!

Are you saying there's librarians in the new DLC on the way? If so, ERMEHGERD!
Amazing work, Last Light was brilliant, and beautiful. I'm guessing with the success of this game we'll hopefully see more sequels.
Aww!
The whole librarian section in 2033 was one of the things that creeped me out. Would love to see them back again in Last Light.

Did you also make the low polys?
Yes, I will upload a low poly soon.
Looking forward to low-poly versions.

I like the way you modeled the pinched/wrinkled fabric. If you could share your process that would be superb!
