Hello,
Its my three times to submit my first HUD to steam workshop but still not success to get more votes from visitors. You can see my HUD on this link:
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=151873656 still monotonic and only fully moose texture with old green color. I have plan to add trees, root, or anything to make more attractive to my HUD. Like this one from my screenshot on
attached thumbhnails
What do you think is more attractive or not?
Also I have got problem to add custom lighting effect like HUD Guide from Valve because I still dunno how to add it. Could anyone to provide a tutorial link or step by step guide to add custom lighting effect to my HUD with comprehensive?
I hope everyone would understand and cooperative to help me design the awesome HUD for Dota 2

Curse Red Sword
Any thoughts?
Could anyone collaboration with me to make this weapon?
Sorry for bad drawing
-What materials are the components made of... wood, metal?(you can't tell what any of this is made of)
-Does the construction logically make sense as a weapon/item?(there are bits of your weapon that look like they will snap off if they hit someone hard enough)
-Does the color scheme/visual theme work with the hero?(if you asked me what hero this could be for without telling me I might say something like chaos knight based on the colors)
A solid item starts with a really clear and concise concept and this specific drawing needs a bit more before someone could realistically start modeling it. You should try to make your detail lines a bit straighter as well. Good luck! I'd like to see this item again after a bit more work on it.
It's a long way to go, not gonna to lie. You need to ask to yourself: How this is going to look in 3D? It will look good if someone do exactly what is concepted?
Put yourself in the modeller's place, how is he going to do this?
My suggestion is:
Pratice drawing ALOT, not only dota related stuff. Try to reproduce materials like wood, metal, cloth.
Study silhoettes, values, colors. And then start to reproduce your concept pieces~
Thanks for valuable feedback guys. I already revised LC concept and took by my friend.
I have another plan to repolish my windranger ward. What's your feedback for this ward?
