Recent Grad need feed back on website plz.

Hi Polycount,

I'm a recent graduate, and I want to know what you guys think of my portfolio. I currently work in the auto industry right now as a way to start paying back my loans, but I have plans to relocate to California or any where where I can find a job in the game industry. I just want to know if I have what it takes to join the industry.

Here is my website, and blog:

Professional website: http://nicholasnguyen.carbonmade.com/
Behance: http://www.behance.net/NicholasNguyen
Blog: http://natsugi.blogspot.com/

Thanks/

I'm missing wireframes, texture layouts and polygon counts.

I have both wireframe and texture layout on my behance account. I'm gonna have to put in the poly count though thanks. I'll get on that very soon.

The eyes, especially the pupils, seem rather cloudy. Keep in mind that the pupil is really just a hole in the iris; light can reflect from the cornea, from the back of the eye (giving red eye so beloved of home photos), but not from the pupil itself.

The eyes are missing some of the finer details, such as the lines around the lids.

Jane's eye shadow is odd. The line along the lower lid should follow the shape of the eye more closely, while the upper shadow should extend more towards the eyebrow, blending gradually to the base skin color.

I'd expect her lips to have a bit more gloss.

The nostrils really should be much darker; it might just be an excessive ambient light level.

I like the layout on your portfolio, easy to navigate etc.
Like Snader said its missing breakdowns wich would be nice to have.

The body texture on the character Victor Valcent looks kinda low res compared to the face. Looks almost blurry.

Good luck with the job hunting!
