Mac Pro - New upcoming machine!
Please leave your fanboy hat and the "but I can built a fugly ass pc for 1/3 the price" shoes at the door and look at the specs of this box from a professional point of view.

Dear god that thing looks sexy as hell, and its size blew me away when they showed it standing next to the old mac-pro during the keynote.
And yes.. expensive blabla (if you compare it to gaming grade component PC boxes), expandability blablabla..
BUT ITS HELLA SEXY and if it deliveres I dont give two tits if I can upgrade my GPU to get 10-20% performance increase per year!!!
I want reliability over speed!
I want silence over a lower price!
I want a small foot print, over large ugly cheap components!
I want a machine that I can have near my desk, on my desk and within viewing distance that is not a constant eye-sore :P
plus small... and silent.. oh and did I already mention SEXY!
Dual workstation class GPU´s, dual XEON CPU´s and a 4 channel memory controler with workstation class ECC memory.
6x Thunderbolt 2 ports that can handle up to 6 devices each daisy chained... yeah expandability will not be an issue here.
Compared to my windmill of a big PC tower that cost me (in local currency converted to $) just shy over $3500 with a gaming grade GPU (one nvidia 670). IF I were to add a workstation class GPU like the Quadro, would add around 800 to 1700 dollars depending on the card on top of that, not to mention swapping to workstation class ECC memory.
I cant wait to see what pricing options they have going on release for the mac pro.
I feel just like I did when I first saw the Silicon Graphics O2 and Octane stations for the first time.. sad I know, but true :P
