Hey guys, we've started up a kickstarter campaign for our game (and my first game) Dubwars! It's a twinstick shooter with bombastic weapons powered by dubstep!

Support us in any way that you can, and play the DEMO!!! (linked on the kickstarter page).
If any of you guys are going to E3, say hi to my team! We're fortunate to have been invited to attend and showcase our game with a dedicated booth.

Let me know what you think of the demo. If you like it enough and want to try more, I have a super-secret password that will unlock all 4 levels (normally the musicians have a password that unlocks only their level for their followers to play).

Such a cool idea. Love it! Did you do the music Makkon? not your usual style.
And where's the Bronies... ;P
I dunno man, with your awesome art skills, i feel like you could be making much better than an arena shooter with dubstep.
(probably has something to do with my utter aversion to dubstep )
Muzz: That's how I felt when we first pitched the project, but I have to tell you it's been a load of fun to make. You can't take the premise of the game seriously, it's just crazy basspounding fun. Thanks for trying it, though.
I think you've really hit the nail on the head with changing the weapon types to match the music it gives an instant epic feel and exactly like what dubstep should look like... reminds me of that picture that was floating around the internet where people are riding dinosaurs that shoot lasers etc!
However i implore you to look up a multitude of dubstep sounds/musicians and not just classic *Bro-step*. Try to avoid just sheer noise like Datsik and Excision... Everybody has a different taste in music and you can't please all, it is a tricky line to walk. However there is some terrible dubstep out there which for some reason a lot of people think is great quality music haha.
Will the music be synced to the game or do you reckon there is a possibility (if this game is ever released) that people would be able to play their own music? I personally would love to play a game like that to a song such as this one... *old school retro feel, but beefed up!* [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9epLRcDfXME"]Kubrak - Ursa Major (Breed 12 Inches) - YouTube[/ame]

We also made $20,000 in ONE DAY. I don't know if the Kotaku article influences that or not, but WOW.
This is nothing short of a miracle. I'm still in shock.
Help us out with our stretch goals! We have wonderful things in store, and we want to make this game as crazy awesome as physically possible! We've updated our Kickstarter page a bunch, give it another look over!

Congrats on the funding as well.
Good luck with it all
PS I am addicted to the demo
I like the way the attacks look though.
